8. Data Retention
We keep your personal information only as long as needed to provide the service and comply with our legal obligations. Order records are retained for at least seven (7) years to comply with tax and record-keeping requirements. Account data is retained until you request deletion.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive data, access controls, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work to protect your information appropriately.
10. Children
The Site is not intended for anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact privacy@basaltbio.com so we can delete it.
11. International Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We use appropriate safeguards for such transfers as required by applicable law.
